Steps To Follow:
- Download and install MTK engineering Mode to your phone
- Run the app and click on MTK settings (see image below)
- You can also dial *#*#3646633#*#* To bring out this menu
- wipe left
- Select CDS (Common Data Service) information and On the next screen, click Radio Information
- Select the SIM slot you want a new IMEI for
- To change the IMEI, tap the AT+ box and type "E" just after command and a list of complete command will show just below it
- If you're changing the IMEI for SIM1, use the first command i.e " AT+EGMR=1,7,"" " and if SIM2, use the second command I.e " AT+EGMR=1,10,"" "
- Move the cursor in between the inverted commas at the end of the line
- Type in your desired / generated IMEI number in between it
- Click "Send at command" when done
- You should get an "AT command m is sent" notification but in some devices, it gives the "AT command is not allowed in user build error"
- To fix the error, just put a space between AT+ and EGMR and the command will be sent.
- Finally, reboot your device or turn on and off Airplane mode for changes to take effect.
You can check your IMEI after rebooting by dialing *#06# on the dial menu.
