Pay as you go, PAYG in short is a service that allows customers of Internet service providers the access to the internet for a specific period of time, from a few minutes to a limited number of hours as the case may be.
This certainly is not the first, Etisalat has offered its Nigeria based customers this service in the past years and Airtel, maybe due to complains on the rate of data charge has decided to come up with a cheaper way to access the internet.
However, the most surprising thing about Airtel PAYG is that it's not capped which means you can download or stream conveniently before the time of the plan subscribed to ends. But, my biggest fear is whether or not Airtel will give speed throttling limits to this plan since it's very hard to fully comprehend our ISPs this days.

How to Subscribe to AIRTEL PAYG Plan
Simply Dial, *439# and select the plan of your choice.- 5 minutes for N15
- 10 minutes for N30
- 30 minutes for N90
- 60 minutes for N180
Well, if this plan is not capped or throttled, I think it's going to go a long way in serving a great number of people, most especially those who like to stream online.

Nice one JideProf. Will be using it henceforth. pls I have a problem. I cant share my psiphone, tweakware or simple server network with my laptop using hotspot. Pls can you explain how I can do this?
