Firstly, I'll like to apologize for not posting it earlier. I was doing a test-run on the plan to know how long it lasts before posting it here but now that it seems like it doesn't have an expiry date, I will love you to join me in enjoying the Cheapest plan ever from Nigeria ISPs.
Am talking about the Etisalat Smartpak plans which is categorically a plan that is dedicated to offer Internet access to selected applications. The plan which is sub-categorized in the Chatpak and SocialMe pak is what I have been using for close to a month now on my Android device.
>> To start enjoying the tweak with me, you may need to get a new Etisalat sim card as it will only be recharged once cos subsequent recharges may be deducted almost immediately for renewal of the plan.
>> After you have purchased and registered the sim, recharge your line with #100 and subscribe to the plan of your choice;
>> Now Download PsiphonHandler88 UI from HERE
>> Launch your Psiphon Handler and configure as stated below:

- For Chatpak: dial *200*3*3*1*1# for #50 only
- For SocialMe pak: dial *200*3*3*2*1*1# for #100 only (Preferred)
>> Now Download PsiphonHandler88 UI from HERE
>> Launch your Psiphon Handler and configure as stated below:
- Tick remove port
- Select Real Host under Proxy type option
- Input mobile.facebook.com under Proxy server
- Input 194.83.240.11 under Real proxy server
- Input 8080 under Real proxy port
>> Now click on Save when you are done and you will see a popup asking if you want to tunnel whole device; Click on Tunnel whole device.
>> You will then receive another pop-up asking if you trust the application, tick the appropriate box and accept else it won't work.
>> You will then be presented with another interface; Click on the Options tab and select United States or United Kingdom as your region.
>> Now click on More options and configure as indicated below;
- Click vibrate (to know when you're connected or disconnected)
- Click on Connect through an HTTP proxy
- Click on Use the following settings
- Input 194.83.240.11 as your Host Address
- Input 8080 as your port
Now hit the back button and click on Start. After starting the PsiphonHandler, wait a few minutes and it would connect. You can confirm this with the vibration or the key that will be displayed beside p in your status bar.
NOTE
- You only have to subscribe to any pak once, you can then use it till Etisalat stops it. As for me, it's been over 3 weeks since I've been using mine now 😀
- You may get messages about speed throttling and expiration, just ignore and keep surfing. Speed in my location is about 2MB/s and am okay with it.

Cook but has some speed restrictions. How do I bypass the speed throthling. Any Idea?
ReplyExactly, that's why the social me pak was recommended. But it seems like the speed is low. Disconnect the PsiphonHandler and put your phone in airplane mode for a few minutes and the speed should be back to normal after you restart the Handler.
ReplyYou might as well keep downloads between 4-8am for optimal speed rate
